PUBLIC NOTICE BY THE MARIN COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY
OF A POSTING FOR PUBLIC REVIEW AND COMMENT AND SCHEDULED
PUBLIC HEARING BY THE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS RELATING TO THE APPROVAL OF THE ANNUAL PLAN UPDATE FOR 2027
The Marin County Housing Authority announces that the draft Annual Plan Update for 2027, as required by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), is available as of May 30, 2026 for a 45-day public review. The comment period runs from May 30, 2026 through July14, 2026.
The Annual Plan describes the strategy to carry out federal programs, indicates the general priorities for allocating funds and describes the basis for assigning the funding to each priority. The document includes a description of the proposed activities, funded with the HUD Community Development formula grant funds during the upcoming program year (January 1, 2027 - December 31, 2027) to address priorities.
The Marin County Housing Authority is vitally interested in improving and increasing communication with Marin County citizens in the area of housing, community development, and economic development.
The Annual Plan is available below for public review as of May 30, 2026. Persons wishing to submit written comments during the 45-day public review and comment period may mail them, postmarked no later than July 14, 2026, to the following address:

The Board of Commissioners will be considering the Annual Plan for approval and submission to HUD by October 18, 2026. If you want to submit written comments to be considered by the Housing Authority Board, please email them to kbaird@marinhousing.org or kwyatt@marinhousing.org by June 11, 2026.
