Marin Housing Authority and SEIU 1021 representatives have conducted eighteen (18) bargaining sessions. The parties are next scheduled to meet on April 10, 2024. The parties reviewed information relevant to bargaining. The Authority passed a Last, Best and Final Offer on March 13, 2024.
March 15, 2024 Update
Marin Housing Authority and SEIU 1021 representatives have conducted sixteen (16) bargaining sessions. The parties are next scheduled to meet on March 21, 2024. The Authority passed a Last, Best and Final Offer on March 13, 2024.
February 29, 2024 Update
Marin Housing Authority and SEIU 1021 representatives have conducted fourteen (14) bargaining sessions. The next bargaining session is scheduled for March 7, 2024. The parties have reached tentative agreement on six discrete proposals. The Authority passed a second package proposal on February 28, 2024.
February 1, 2024 Update
Marin Housing Authority and SEIU 1021 representatives have conducted twelve (12) bargaining sessions. The next bargaining session is scheduled for February 5, 2024. The parties have reached tentative agreement on six discrete proposals. In addition, the Authority passed a package proposal on January 31, 2024.
December 31, 2023 Update
Marin Housing Authority and SEIU 1021 representatives have conducted six (6) bargaining sessions. The next bargaining session is scheduled for January 3, 2024. The parties have exchanged proposals on medical insurance, across the board compensation increases, employee probation, holidays, employee wellness reimbursement, bereavement, premium pay, employee longevity pay, specialized employee compensation issues, and vacation reimbursement. The parties have reached tentative agreement on one discrete proposal.
November 30, 2023 Update
The Memorandum of Understanding between Marin Housing Authority and SEIU 1021 expires on December 31, 2024. The parties have been sharing information relevant to negotiations, have had an initial meeting on November 20, 2024, and are meeting internally in preparation for bargaining. A bargaining session is scheduled for December 7, 2024.
