In collaboration with Marin Housing and other agencies in the Bay Area offering affordable housing and resources for homebuyers

Workshop Fee:

$25 Fee waivers for low-income people available upon request. (A $20 gift card will be offered to those who pay the registration fee and attend a counseling session after the class.)

Workshop Topics Include:

• The homebuying process and steps to homeownership
• Housing affordability
• Financial and credit management
• The lending process and fair lending
• Federal, state, and local programs and resources for first-time homebuyers (including Below Market Rate homeownership opportunities and downpayment assistance)

HUD Certificate

To obtain a HUD certificate, participants need to fulfill certain requirements

Online Workshop

The workshop is offered via Zoom. A test session will be offered for those new to Zoom

Registration:

Pre-registration is required. Participants need to attend both sessions and fulfill all requirements to obtain a HUD certificate (more information at registration). Further instructions will be sent prior to the event.
