PUBLIC NOTICE BY THE MARIN COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY OF A POSTING FOR PUBLIC REVIEW AND COMMENT AND SCHEDULED PUBLIC HEARING BY THE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS RELATING TO THE APPROVAL OF THE FIVE-YEAR PLAN AND ANNUAL PLAN UPDATE FOR 2026-2030
The Marin County Housing Authority announces that the draft Five Year Plan and Annual Plan Update for 2026-2030, as required by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), is available as of July 31, 2025 for a 45-day public review. The comment period runs from July 31, 2025 through September 14, 2025.
The Five-Year Plan and Annual Plan Update describes the strategy to carry out federal programs, indicates the general priorities for allocating funds and describes the basis for assigning the funding to each priority. The document includes a description of the proposed activities, funded with the HUD Community Development formula grant funds during the upcoming program years (January 1, 2026 - December 31, 2030) to address priorities.
The Marin County Housing Authority is vitally interested in improving and increasing communication with Marin County citizens in the area of housing, community development, and economic development.
The Five-Year Plan and Annual Plan Update is available for public review as of July 31, 2025 on the Marin County Housing Authority website at: www.marinhousing.org. People wishing to submit written comments during the 45-day public review and comment period may mail them, postmarked no later than September 14, 2025, to the following address:

The Board of Commissioners will be considering the Five-Year Plan and Annual Plan Update for approval and submission to HUD by October 18, 2025. If you want to submit written comments to be considered by the Housing Authority Board, please email them to kbaird@marinhousing.org or kwyatt@marinhousing.org by September 1, 2025.
