    July 29, 2025


    Attendance:

    Michael Harris, Mark Galperin, Thos Chapman, Tania Rouin, Regina Talton, Royce McLemore


    Matters of Discussion:


    5 Year Plan and Annual Plan update


    Michael: Opened the meeting with the July Agenda. With reference to the extra meeting. Comments needed from the RAB by Aug. 15, 2025.


    Informed RAB of Lynnette Frary’s resignation due to health issues.


    The June Minutes were approved.


    Mark: Reports he conversed w/ lawyers. Also reported MHA requested Discovery and Recovery.


    Royce: Reports "No Demolition documented, Highlighted in Green of the Plan. Also no consulting party involved. Michael will follow up w/her on this matter.


    Micheal: Responded; he will have a meeting with Supervisors on this subject.


    Mark: Stated in Sec. D1 of the Plan, Fair Housing Goals - MHA left blank. No Comment to add from RAB until the goals are submitted. Will follow-up at the next mtg.


    Thos: Reports the new heating and cooling system work is going well at Venetia Oaks.


    Mark: Expressed problems with his heating and cooling system which generates high PG&E bills.


    Tania: Has high energy bills due to the weather, as well.


    Regina: Offered link: 211.org for energy assistance and other resources.


    Thos: Will research a domain for the RAB as well as a P.O. Box.


    Michael: Commented on the plan for affordable housing.


    Mark/Michael: Suggested an earlier meeting next month before the 15th. Next RAB Meeting is set for August 13, 2025 for Comments for Annual Plan Deadline.


    Michael: Also, reports he has been offered to be on the Board of Commissioners. He will keep us updated with the progress. In this event: Mark Galperin was nominated as Temporary Chair going forward.


    RAB also needs 2 members at this time.
