End of Year message from Burbank Housing and Marin Housing Authority
Public Housing / Golden Gate Village Revitalization
Dear GGV Residents,
As we approach the end of the year, we would like to take a moment to reflect on the significant progress we have achieved together as a community toward the revitalization of Golden Gate Village.
After years of delay and discussion, we are finally moving forward with a thoughtful, phased revitalization plan that reflects the voices and priorities of residents and addresses the much needed repairs and improvements that residents have been waiting years for. Your support, involvement, and collaboration have played a vital role in making this a productive and successful year, helping ensure the revitalization delivers real improvements, preserves affordability, and invests in this historic community.
Much work lies ahead, and as we look toward 2026, we remain committed to working with residents to improve Golden Gate Village and providing a safe, enjoyable, and well-maintained community for all residents.
Thank you for your collaboration, patience, and contributions throughout the year. Together, we are building a more resilient community, and we look forward to continuing this momentum in the year ahead.
Wishing you and your families a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year.
Warm regards,
Larry Florin
