This is a call and resource center where staff and volunteers provide centralized information, referral, support, advocacy and follow-up to callers from throughout Marin County who need information about housing options and community resources: everything from emergency shelter to low-cost homeownership programs.

Services Provided to the Community
  • Information and referral regarding housing and social services in Marin County to individuals who call or make appointment to request in person housing assistance or other forms of support.
  • Advocacy to assist clients to access housing and resources.
  • Besides housing options referrals include care management, legal services agencies, food programs, employment-related agencies, recreational organizations, transportation alternatives, senior-related services and more.
  • Rebate for Marin Renters Program -- assistance with rent. (See program description below.)
  • Bilingual Spanish translation available.

The Rebate for Marin Renters (RMR)

RMR provides a shallow rental rebate up to a one-year period to eligible households. Supported by Marin’s cities, towns, and the county, this program serves low-income seniors and persons with disabilities who are at risk of losing their housing.
